I bought the car April of 2002 and just drove it for that summer. Over the
winter of ’02 - ’03 I went through the whole drive train. I took the 396 out
since it wasn’t the matching engine and had a 486 built to replace it. I had a
200 4R built for it and burnt that up in a month then I had a 700R4 built.
The car came with Cragar SS’s, they had to go! I bought a set of 14” SS
Rally wheels from Year One and O also had the ’69 SS strip added to it.
While the drive drain and suspension was out I put in all new poly bushings.
Last summer I fabed in a set of Chrysler Sebring Convertible seats and
replaced all the body to frame bushings.
Next is to transform it into a G-machine to take it on the open road courses.
